Historic Hindu temple vandalized in Peshawar; 70 Hindus forcefully converted into Islam in Sindh

Peshawar : Unidentified men stormed a at least 160 years Hindu temple of Guru Gorakhnath and Lord Shiva in Peshawar on Sunday evening, police said.
This Gorakhnath temple was just reopened in 2011 after a long legal fight or 60 years as the temple was forcefully closed by the Evacuee Property Trust Board and the Provincial Archaeology Department. As one Phool Wati and her son Kaka Ram own the sacred battle the opening rituals were performed with a great grandeur in last Diwali.
But, the old temple of Nath Tradition has been vandalized with all Islamic impetus and and desecrated by Muslim menace. The Idols of Shiva and Nath Gurus were destroyed, holy books are set on fire, human excreta were thrown and so on. All in the name of Mohammad, Islam and Allah as these  vicious entities are always to instill terror into the mind of idol worshiper and to destroy all existence of non Muslims.
The History and Heritage of Gorkhatri is attached with Hindu Nath Yogi for a long time.
According to the police, the attackers burnt images and took away idols from the temple in the Gorghathri area, and fled the scene after the incident, reports the Daily Times.
No immediate claim of responsibility was made, they said.
The custodian of the temple said it was the third such attack. He said when he arrived at the temple, he saw around eight men burning images and sacred books.
Members of Hindu community expressing concern over the incident, have demanded immediate action against the miscreants.
Again to say that in a brazen act of vandalism, unidentified men sneaked into a Hindu temple in the capital city of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa on Sunday (20-05-2012), smashed a holy figurine and burnt down scriptures and images of deities.
“We opened the temple around 6pm and found all holy scriptures and images burnt down. A statuette of Lord Shiva was also smashed to pieces,” Ramesh Lal, a priest at Guru Gorakhnath temple, told The News Agencies
The temple is situated in the Gorgathri neighbourhood inside the walled city.
Peshawar, which is believed to be one of the oldest living cities of South Asia, houses dozens of monuments and structures from the Buddhist, Hindu, Sikh and British eras.
The priest said that the community had reported the incident to the local police who gave them the customary cold-shoulder.
“Vandals smashed a statuette of Lord Shiva to pieces and burnt down the holy Gita as well as several images of our deities,” Lal said. The temple, according to him, did not have armed guards because the government pays scant attention to the security needs of a Hindu place of worship.
According to Lal, the 160-year-old temple was named after a Hindu pontiff Guru Goraknath. The local Hindu community had abandoned the temple following the 1947 partition of the subcontinent. For decades no ritual was undertaken within the temple ground until the Peshawar High Court handed over its custody to the Hindu community a few months ago.
“This desecration and vandalism has hurt the religious sentiments of our community. Lack of cooperation from police and administration has added insult to the injury,” Lal said and added that the police were reluctant to concede that the temple had holy images and figurines.
“When the temple was reopened [after the PHC verdict] after almost six decades, we imported a figurine from India which cost us hundreds of thousands of rupees,” Lal claimed.
Haroon Sarblal, a representative of the Hindu community, condemned the incident as ‘unacceptable’. He called upon the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government to arrest the vandals and provide security guards for the temple.
“If the government wants the Hindu community to remain calm, it should arrest the vandals and punish them accordingly,” Sarblal told The News Agencies.
These acts of vandalism and desecration  are a deliberate attempt to create communal tension in the city, he said. However, he vowed that the Hindu community would remain calm and record its protest peacefully.
No group has claimed responsibility for the vandalism – but past attacks on the shrines of Muslim Sufi saints and spiritual figures have been blamed on Taliban insurgents.

Within the same hours 70 Tribal Bheel Hindus were converted in to Islam in Pak Hyderabad. The reports came in as :

HYDERABAD: Some 70 people drawn from the Hindu Bheel community embraced Islam at the Madrasa Baitul Islam in Badin on Sunday. The families hailed from Golarchi in Badin, Raju Khanani in Tando Mohammad Khan, Shaikh Bhirkyo in Hyderabad and Thano Bula Khan in Jamshoro division. Qari Abdul Majeed converted the 37 men and 33 women and gave them new names.
This report is published in The Express Tribune, May 21st, 2012. But the sources ascertained that these Bheel people have been victimized by the local Muslim Goons for the years out of a conspiracy  to convert them forcefully. The lands and occupations of these poor people were snatched, their women folk were raped and abducted and threatened to evacuate from their own place. Ultimately the this Bheel Hindu folk submitted to Islam under the wrath of Allah. But the Muslims will say it is a peaceful embracing of Islam. Shame.

The Glamour Industry : Attacking Narendra Modi

Since the 2002 Hindu Muslim riots in Gujarat, a legacy of the Partition riots, there has sprung up an industry specifically designed to target Narendra Modi. The fact that Gujarat under Congress rule had witnessed several communal riots and that in the last ten years Gujarat under the governance of Shri Modi has not experienced any since 2002,is ignored by the industry. The chief sponsors and participants of this industry are the now discredited Teesta Setalwad and the many NGOs or activists as they are referred to. The danseuse Sarabahi and others have quietly gone back to the wood work , though even as late as last year the present writer saw her and the ubiquitous spokesperson of the Congress Party, Renuka Chowdary, giggling and bursting into unseemly laughter during a program on the riots on Times Now. These, presumably, are the beautiful people, the secular avante garde of Indian society who claims to uphold communal harmony. Their credentials are seriously in doubt.
The industry, ofcourse, has its international supporters, and it is reported that they are also financed from these dubious sources.
One of the first things that strikes any impartial viewer of mainstream programs on national television is that each participant begins with a virtuous disclaimer. Ofcourse, they regret the Godhra 'incident'. That is exactly the word used by them. The 59 plus people, men, women and children, who were roasted to death
in the horrific train carnage are routinely referred to as 'kar sevaks'. Indeed, these were Hindu pilgrims returning from Ayodhya. Dushyant Dave the lawyer turned spokesperson against Narendra Modi even referred to them as the 'unfortunate' victims, and then hypocritically added : it is to be condemned. But he, as well many such people, then turn with indecent haste, to the riots that followed. He was sure, by some god given insight, that the Narendra Modi government deliberately instigated the riots. He was offended by the fact that the bodies of the Ayodhya pilgrims were taken in procession to their families. All this to fan the communal flames. He was certain about this. There was an unseemly air of certainty about his many obiter dicta.
Increasingly, it has become clear that they are not seriously interested either in communal harmony or the tragedy of the Muslims who died in the Gujarat riot of 2002. The most recent program to date on national television was Left, Right and Centre, anchored by Nidhi Razdan ('Illegal orders withing a room no offence' May 10,2012). Its topic for discussion was the SIT Report, recently released and which is presented in the program as making controversial statements. Since no one in the show had read the entire report it would seem to have been precipitous to engage in a discussion. Neverthless, for reasons of publicity Razdan decided to go ahead with it.
Lawyer Dushyant Dave led the pack. After the obligatory reference to the 'unfortunate' victims of the Godhra train burning by the Muslim miscreants(murderers, is the proper appellation) he launched into a tirade, accusing the authors of the SIT report which saw no prosecutable evidence against Shri Modi, for lying and worse. Siddharth Varadarajan, after a cautious opening statement stating that he stands corrected since he had not read the entire report, damned it as a shoddy piece of work. Interestingly, he too like lawyer Dave, was offended that the Gujarat prosecutors of those who were responsible for the killing of the Muslims, were RSS and members of the VHP (Vishwa Hindu Parishad) ! The implication was that they could not be impartial in their enquiry.
Such accusations are astonishing since both the RSS and VHP are respected law abiding citizens of the country and have every right to hold public office. But this incident speaks to the bias of the so called secularists. If reports are to be believed, Mr. Varadarajan is sympathetic to the Left in India. Neverthless, he holds the post of Editor of the newspaper The Hindu. There is no prima facie evidence to show that he is in some way superior to the hoi polloi of the desi organisations such as the Rashtriya Swamayam Sangh and the Vishwa Hindu Parishad. The fact that they are Hindus cannot be held against them. The entire Gujarat judiciary would then be tarnished by such statements !
Mr. Vyas, lawyer for the Gujarat government held his ground and had no difficulty in showing that the SIT Report had to be accepted as the work of an investigative agency appointed by the Supreme Court. Much as the 'beautiful' people would like to indict and convict Shri Narendra Modi, to date there has been no evidence of his guilt in the Gujarat massacre. The moral arguments advanced by Mr. Varadarajan remain somewhat tenuous since the legal aspects are to be respected in a democracy. And any moral argument per se cannot be held in a vaccuum. It has to be grounded in history. One would have to bring in the Godhra massacre and the history of Hindu Muslim riots. In the absence of such a context his statements are just that, statements in a vaccum. And difficult as it may be for the likes of Dushyant Dave et al, there is simply no actionable evidence against Shri Modi.
Every now and then, someone might jump up and bring another case against him and ask for the continuation of the witch hunt against Shri Modi. The dubious industry might continue to flourish. Their political agenda will continue. But the people of Gujarat have moved forward under the prosperous governance of Shri Modi and the people of India will wait for their legal system to pronounce on guilt or innocence.

Dear John Dayal,
A few years back, you wrote a letter to Jenab Mohammad Hamid Ansari, then Chairman, National Commission for Minorities, where you complained of harassment of nuns and Christian workers at Bus Stops, Rail Stations in Tirupati government-owned areas and objecting to a request to have the Constitutionality of the Seven Tirumala Hills being made out of bounds to Christians.
Do you really think that for instance the Government of France would allow Hindu proselytizers in Lourdes, one of the most sacred places for Christians? Never. The French Government even has a branch of the Home Ministry looking into what they call ‘sects’. Amrita Anandamayi of Kerala is on that list. Although she has not committed any crimes except embracing people and although her followers are doing remarkable social work, as good as any Christian organization in India, she is being harassed in France, the accounts of her group are being scrutinized, she faces difficulties in buying land and she has to keep a low profile.
Tirupati is one of the most sacred places for Hindus. Why should nuns and missionaries go there to convert innocent Hindus? It’s an affront to the majority community of this country who have always respected the Christian faith. Remember that the first Christian community of the world is the Syrian Christian in Kerala?
Do Christians in India realize how much freedom they have here? Any preacher from abroad can come to India, rent huge grounds, organize prayer meetings, advertise in the national press, get media coverage… Just try to do this in Saudi Arabia, or even China and see what will happen to your preachers …
Then you go on complaining of a "sustained hate campaign by the religious fanatics" of the so-called Sangh Parivar in Andhra Pradesh. But you must be knowing that thanks to Chief Minister Rajshekhar Reddy, who died in an helicopter accident, nearly 20% of Andhra Pradesh has converted to Christianity. His son Jagan Reddy is very much a Christian too - he has even erected a cross over his massive new house in Hyderabad. Yet his name sounds Hindu. Do Christians in high places need hindu names to fool the gullible masses of Hindus?
Come on, Mr John Dayal, you are the one who is waging a systematic campaign of hate against Hindus. As a born Christian, I can see how Christianity is evolving slowly in the West, where it is becoming more and more accepted in the masses that there are other religions, such as Buddhism or Hinduism which have their own values. Yet in India, Christianity is becoming more and more rigid, more and more of a proselytizing spirit, like it was fifty years ago in the West. Christians in India represent only 2.5% of the population, yet they make so much noise, they occupy so much space in education, health care, journalism that you would think that they constitute the majority of this country.
Again recently, you have targeted Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, respected not only by millions of Hindus, but also by many Christians in western countries and even by Muslims (he was received warmly last month in Pakistan). By doing this, you are showing that you are practicing a Christianity that is obsolete, aggressive and maybe even dangerous.
It is time Christianity in India becomes a little more humble and quieter. Nobody is contesting your faith, but please leave alone ancient places of worship like Tirupathi and great sages such as Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. And remember: Sonia Gandhi may not be here forever…

Falsification of our history started from it's very name itself - Hindustan

We have been frequently told and taught that Hindustan is believed to be derived from the old Persian word Hindu, which in turn is derived from Sindhu, the Sanskrit name for the Indus River.
Hindus were said to be the people living in other side of river Sindhu and there is no religion called Hinduism according to our Historians.
But no Historians have yet looked into this Sanskrit Sloka from the Barhaspatya Samhita of the Rigveda which dates further back to that time period when no other civilizations were civilized enough any where across the world.

'दुनिया को चीख-चीख कर कह रही हूं कि मैं हिंदू हूं'

‘किस तरह करूं फरियाद मैं, यकीन हो दुनिया को कि मैं हिंदू हूं, मैं होश में हूं, मैं जानती हूं, मेरा नाम रिंकल हैं, मैं हिंदू हूं, पढ़ाया गया कलमा वो सबको दिखता है, अब क्यों नहीं माना जा रहा मैं हिंदू हूं, मालूम है नहीं मिलेगा इंसाफ मुझे, मेरे खिलाफ सब हैं क्योंकि मैं हिंदू हूं, और क्यों मैं इस दुनिया को सबूत दूं, दुनिया को चीख-चीख कर कह रही हूं कि मैं हिंदू हूं, मेरा रब करेगा इंसाफ मुझसे, मैं मरते दम तक कहूंगी कि हिंदू हूं।’ यह पैगाम है रिंकल का।

पाकिस्तान के सिंध प्रांत के मीरपुर मथेलो की 19 वर्षीय रिंकल कुमारी का पिछले दिनों अपहरण कर लिया गया था। उसका धर्म परिवर्तन कराकर उसे मुसलमान बनाया गया फिर 24 फरवरी को नावीद शाह नाम के एक मुस्लिम युवक से उसकी शादी करा दी गई। रिंकल को धर्म परिवर्तन के लिए मजबूर किया गया। रिंकल मां-बाप के पास जाना चाहती है, मामला सुप्रीम कोर्ट में गया लेकिन अभी तक वहां से भी इंसाफ नहीं मिला है। सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने रिंकल को फिलहाल संरक्षण गृह भेज दिया है, इस मामले की फिर सुनवाई 18 अप्रैल को होनी है।

संरक्षण गृह से रिंकल ने एक पैगाम अपनी मां और पाकिस्तान की हिंदू आवाम के नाम भेजा है। इस पैगाम को रिंकल की मां ने सोशल नेटवर्किंग साइट्ïस पर ‘कैनविज टाइम्स’ के साथ शेयर किया है। इस मामले की कोर्ट में सुनवाई के दौरान रिंकल ने रोते हुए कहा ‘हम मां के पास जाना चाहते हैं।’ लेकिन दूसरे पक्ष के वकील ने कहा लडक़ी ने कलमा पढ़ लिया है, अब वह हिंदू नहीं है। पाकिस्तान के नारी संरक्षण गृह दारुल अमीन जाने से जब रिंकल ने इंकार कर दिया तो पुलिस उसको घसीटते हुए ले गई। दारुल अमीन में रो-रोकर बेहाल रिंकल ने उनसे मिलने गईं पाकिस्तान हिंदू काउंसिल की मंगला शर्मा के हाथों एक पैगाम भिजवाया। उस पैगाम में उसका दर्द, मजबूरी और पाकिस्तान में इंसाफ के हाल को बखूबी समझा जा सकता है।

रिंकल की दर्दभरी अपील के बाद पाकिस्तान में अल्पसंख्यक हिंदुओं की आवाज उठाने के लिए सोशल नेटवर्किंग साइट पर एक अभियान छिड़ गया है। पाकिस्तान हिंदू वायस सहित कई पेज फेसबुक पर बने हैं, जहां रिंकल को न्याय दिलाने के लिए साथ में आवाज उठाने की गुजारिश की जा रही है।

पाकिस्तान में हिंदुओं की नाबालिग लड़कियों का अपहरण करके जबरन धर्मांतरण के बाद निकाह किया जाना आम बात हो गई है, लेकिन रिंकल की बहादुरी को देखकर इसके पहले ऐसे हादसे से गुजर चुकी कई महिलाएं भी अब अपना इंसाफ मांगने के सामने आने लगी हैं। पाकिस्तान में हिंदुओं के खिलाफ  अत्याचार की एक और घटना की शिकार लता तेजाब से झुलसे अपने चेहरे के साथ न्याय के लिए सामने आई है। घटना सिंध प्रांत के ग्रामीण इलाके की है जहां हिंदू समुदाय की एक नाबालिग लडक़ी लता की शादी जबरन एक मुसलमान युवक के साथ करा दी गई। लता ने बंदूक की नोक पर भी निकाह कबूल नहीं किया तो उसका चेहरा जला दिया गया। चेहरे पर तेजाब का घाव लेकर लता ने भी बुधवार को पाकिस्तान हिंदू काउंसिल के पदाधिकारियों से मुलाकात करके इंसाफ की गुहार लगाई है। पाकिस्तान सरकार हिंदुओं के साथ हो रही जुल्म-ज्यादती की घटनाओं पर चुप्पी साधे है।

इसको लेकर भारत के प्रधानमंत्री मनमोहन सिंह को ई-मेल भेजकर गुहार लगाई गई थी, लेकिन पाक राष्ट्रपति जरदारी के दौरे के दौरान मनमोहन सिंह की चुप्पी से पाकिस्तान के हिंदू मर्माहत हैं। पाकिस्तान हिंदू काउंसिल के पदाधिकारियों ने इस मामले में विश्व हिंदू परिषद के पदाधिकारियों के साथ सांसद योगी आदित्यनाथ से भी सम्पर्क साधा है ताकि भारत की संसद में पाकिस्तान के हिंदुओं के साथ हो रही जुल्म-ज्यादती की कहानी वह अंतरराष्टï्रीय मंच पर उठा सके।

Opposition silent over Sonia's assets

 

The Media and Sycophants who celebrated ‘Sonia Gandhi’s Sacrifices’  since she got married to Rajiv Gandhi is keeping mum over the recent exposure by a foreign magazine that she is richest political lady and the fourth richest politician in the world.

According to the list her wealth has been broadly mentioned as in between $2-19 billion, that is Rs 10,000 crores to Rs 45,000 crore. As per the report she is richer than even the likes of Monarch of Dubai or Emir of Abudhabi.

This report comes out at a time when she refuses to divulge details of her IT return to a PIL applicant. When Chennai-based RTI activist V Gopalakrishnan had sought details of her I-T returns from 2000 to 2011 the Aam Admi’s leader the request was refused citing security reasons! Sonia in the last general elections had declared her assets worth Rs 50-75 lakh only.

What is more disappointing is the silence of opposition parties like BJP or Communist – Marxist parties in this regard.   Are we edging towards Plutocracy from Democracy?

Forced conversion of Hindus in Pakistan jolts US out of slumber

There have been many reports of Hindu girls being abducted, forcibly converted to Islam and married to Muslim men in Pakistan.

Pakistan's state-endorsed discrimination, and in some cases extermination, of its minorities has finally caught the eye of Washington lawmakers. Coming on the heels of support in Congress for a Baloch homeland in the face of Islamabad's depredations in the region, a US Congressman has zeroed in on the abduction and forced religious conversion of Hindus in the country highlighted by the case of Rinkel Kumari.

In a sharply-worded letter to Pakistan's President Asif Ali Zardari , CongressmanBrad Sherman urged him to take action to ensure the return of Rinkel Kumari to her family, pursuant to reports that she had been abducted with the help of aPakistan People's Party (PPP) lawmaker. In a case that has been widely reported in the liberal Pakistani media, Rinkel, who was abducted on February 24, was forced to marry one Naveed Shah and convert to Islam.

She was subsequently produced before a civil judge twice, but she was reportedly coerced into claiming that she had converted on her own will, even as her family was denied access to her in kangaroo court proceedings that revealed in video clips to be led by a frenzied mob of zealots, including armed followers of the Pakistani lawmaker. According to Pakistani civil liberties activists in Washington DC, Rinkel was allegedly threatened while in police custody that if she did not change her statement, she and her family would be killed.

''Rinkel Kumari's case is just one case of abduction and forced religious conversion in Pakistan,'' Congressman Sherman said in the letter to Zardari, citing the Asian Human Rights commission figure of 20-25 kidnappings and forced conversions of Hindu girls in Sindh every month. ''I urge you to take all necessary steps to bring an end to this practice and other harassment of Hindus in Pakistan.''

The Rinkel Kumari case was brought to the attention of US lawmakers not by Hindu activists but by the Sindhi American Political Action Committee (SAPAC), a lobby group that, like the Baloch groups, is increasingly asserting the secular and syncretic identity of Pakistan's Sindhi community in the face of growing Islamization in the country. Sapac activists are telling US lawmakers that state sponsored discrimination against minority groups in Pakistan is rampant and is causing Hindus to migrate out of Pakistan in droves.

Hindus, who constituted more than 15 per cent of Pakistan's population soon after Partition, have now dwindled to less than two per cent, mostly in some districts of Sindh. There have been several reports in recent months of Hindu families seeking to migrate to India in the face of growing radical Islamization of Pakistan, including abduction and forcible conversions, but it is the first time that Washington, which literally slept over Pakistan's genocide of Bengalis in 1970-71, is paying attention to the issue.

US interest in the Rinkel Kumari case comes close on the heels of sudden support in Congress for Baloch self-determination, an effort led by California lawmaker Dana Rohrabacher. That effort has rattled Islamabad to the extent that it has told American interlocutors that Pakistan-US ties will be deeply affected if Washington interfered in Balochistan, even though the Obama administration has clarified that support for an independent Balochistan is confined to the Hill, where lawmakers are free to introduce any legislation they deem appropriate. That in turn resulted in Sherry Rehman, Pakistan's ambassador to the U.S.,, writing to House Speaker John Boehner, expressing deep concern over Congressional action on Balochistan.
